Good Morning Windmill Wildcats. This is Natalie Tran, your student council president. It’s Monday, so it’s time for our weekly announcements.
Lots of school pride is happening around here.
Our Wildcat Wednesday winners are:
TK – 2: Zyanne, Ethan, and Astrella from Miss Renee’s class.
3rd – 5th: Gaebriel, Nolan, and Aaron N. from Miss Cyndi’s class.
6th – 8th: Dylan Do, Ricky, and David from Miss Loari’s class.

Our Chuck E Cheese Fundraiser was a success!! We had over 100 students there along with their families. Also, a shout out to all of the teachers and staff who attended with their families. What a great way to show our Wildcat Pride!!!
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 8TH GRADERS WHO WON THE CLASS ATTENDANCE AWARD. THEY HAD 13 STUDENTS IN ATTENDANCE.
Here’s a reminder of upcoming events for Windmill:
On Wednesday, our middle school will be playing basketball at Shirakawa. The game is at 4:15. Come out and support our Wildcat Basketball team.
Tuesday, October 31st will be a very busy day.
- The Halloween parade will be at 8:30 am, where students and staff can show off their costumes.
- At 9:00 am, the Walkathon will start and continue until recess.
- From 1:30 – 2:30 pm, the Halloween carnival will be held on the blacktop.
Don’t forget to remind your families that this Wednesday, November 1st, is a minimum day. TK and K are released at 11:45 am, and 1st through 8th are released at noon.
6th graders are raising money for science camp. Juice Pops are sold on Thursdays. Watch out for more coming fundraisers for science camp.
8th graders are going to Washington DC this Spring. They are also selling tickets to a San Jose State Football game on November 4th for $25.00. Regular price is $45.00. Check with an 8th grader, or see Valerie in P6.
The Student Council Store will open today!! Today, the store will be open after school only. Starting on Wednesday, it will be open during morning recess and after school.
