Parking Lot Safety Rules

PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER:

  • PLEASE OBEY ALL TRAFFIC AND SAFETY LAWS AT ALL TIMES.
  • The biggest concerns we have in this neighborhood are:
    • Crossing streets safely in designated areas
    • Double-parking
    • Using the crosswalks in parking lot
    • Parking in the bus zone
  • Give yourself the gift of time.  
    • Leave the house 5 minutes earlier than you think you have to.
    • Drive slowly in the parking lot.

Morning Student Drop Off

  1. Please only park in designated parking spots.
  2. When dropping off students, please pull all the way forward past the front office and close to the car in front of you.
  3. Please only let students out onto the sidewalk.  NEVER LET YOUR CHILD OUT INTO THE PARKING LOT.  
  4. If using the drop off and pick up area, please make sure your child is prepared and ready to make a quick exit so as to keep the flow of traffic moving.  
  5. There is only a RIGHT HAND turn into, and out of, our parking lot during school hours. 

Afternoon pick up

  1. Please only park in designated parking spots.
  2. Please stay in your car at all times. If you need to exit your car, then please move to a designated parking spot in the lot or on the street.
  3. When picking up students, please pull all the way forward past the front office and close to the car in front of you.
  4. When picking up young students, please try to park your car in a designated spot and walk to greet your child.
  5. Please do not honk or yell for your student.

Booster Seats and Seatbelts

  • Children under the age of 8 must be secured in the back seat of the vehicle in an appropriate child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards.
  • Children under the age of 8 who are 4′ 9″ or taller may be secured by a safety belt in the back seat.
  • Children who are 8 years and over shall be properly secured in an appropriate child passenger restraint system or safety belt.

Quy Tắc An Toàn Tại Bãi Đậu Xe

XIN HÃY LUÔN GHI NHỚ:

  • XIN VUI LÒNG TUÂN THEO TẤT CẢ CÁC LUẬT GIAO THÔNG VÀ AN TOÀN TRONG MỌI LÚC.
  • Mối quan tâm lớn nhất của chúng tôi trong khu phố này là:

o  Băng qua đường an toàn trong khu vực được chỉ định

o  Đậu xe hai hàng

o  Sử dụng lối băng qua cho người đi bộ trong bãi đậu xe

o  Đậu xe trong khu vực dành riêng cho xe buýt

  • Hãy cho mình món quà thời gian.  

o  Rời khỏi nhà sớm hơn 5 phút mà quý vị nghĩ quý vị phải.

o  Lái xe chậm trong bãi đậu xe.

Thả con em tới trường buổi sáng:

  1. Xin vui lòng chỉ đậu xe tại các chỗ đậu xe được chỉ định.
  2. Khi thả học sinh xuống, xin vui lòng lái thẳng tới trước qua văn phòng và tới gần xe ở phía trước của quý vị.
  3. Xin vui lòng thả con em xuống trên lề đường. KHÔNG BAO GIỜ CHO CON EM CỦA QUÝ VỊ XUỐNG XE Ở PHÍA BÊN BÃI ĐẬU XE.  
  4. Nếu sử dụng khu vực thả và đón học sinh, vui lòng bảo đảm rằng con em của quý vị đã chuẩn bị và sẵn sàng ra khỏi xe nhanh để giữ cho luồng giao thông di chuyển.  
  5. Chỉ có một đường QUẸO PHẢI vô và ra khỏi bãi đậu xe của chúng tôi trong giờ học.

Đón con em buổi chiều:

  1. Xin vui lòng chỉ đậu xe tại các chỗ đậu xe được chỉ định.
  2. Xin vui lòng ở trong xe của quý vị trong mọi lúc. Nếu quý vị cần ra khỏi xe, xin vui lòng đậu xe ở chỗ được chỉ định trong bãi đậu xe hay ngoài đường.
  3. Khi đón con em tan trường, xin vui lòng lái thẳng tới trước qua văn phòng và tới gần xe ở phía trước của quý vị.
  4. Khi đón học sinh nhỏ, hãy cố gắng đậu xe ở nơi được chỉ định và đi bộ tới để đón con em.
  5. Xin đừng bấm còi hay la hét gọi con em của quý vị.

Ghế nâng và dây an toàn:

  • Trẻ em dưới 8 tuổi phải được bảo đảm an toàn trên ghế sau của xe trong hệ thống an toàn dành cho hành khách trẻ em phù hợp đáp ứng các tiêu chuẩn an toàn hiện hành của xe cơ giới liên bang.
  • Trẻ em dưới 8 tuổi có chiều cao từ 4 ′ 9 ″ trở lên có thể được bảo vệ bằng dây an toàn ở ghế sau.
  • Trẻ em từ 8 tuổi trở lên phải được bảo đảm an toàn trong hệ thống dây an toàn hoặc dây đai an toàn cho hành khách trẻ em thích hợp.

POR FAVOR SIEMPRE RECUERDE:

  • POR FAVOR SIEMPRE OBEDEZCA TODAS LAS REGLAS DE TRÁFICO Y SEGURIDAD.
  • Las mayores preocupaciones que tenemos en nuestra comunidad son:
    • Cruzar las calles con seguridad en las áreas designadas
    • Estacionarse doble
    • Usar las líneas para peatones en el lote del estacionamiento.
    • Estacionarse en la zona de buses
  • Dése tiempo para Ud mismo.  
    • Salga de su casa 5 minutos antes de lo que acostumbra hacerlo.
    • Maneje despacio en el lote de estacionamiento.

Dejando a su hijo (a) por las mañanas

  1. 1. Por favor estaciónese únicamente en los espacios designados.
  2. Cuando deje a su hijo (a), por favor maneje hasta adelante pasando la oficina, lo más cerca posible del carro que tenga enfrente.
  3. Bajar a los niños únicamente por el lado de la banqueta. NUNCA BAJE A SU HIJO (A) DEL LADO DEL ESTACIONAMIENTO o lado del conductor.
  4.  Si usa el área de entrega y recogida, por favor asegúrese que su hijo (a) esté preparado y listo para hacer una salida rápida y así mantener el flujo de tráfico en movimiento.  
  5. Al salir del lote del estacionamiento, sólo hay cruce a mano derecha durante las horas de escuela. 

Recogiendo a su hijo (a) a la hora de salida

  1.  Por favor estacione únicamente en los espacios designados para estacionarse.
  2.  Por favor quédese dentro de su carro. Si necesita bajarse, entonces por favor use los espacios designados para estacionarse ó estaciónese en la calle.
  3. Cuando recoja a su hijo (a), por favor maneje hasta adelante pasando la oficina, lo más cerca posible del carro que tenga enfrente. 
  4. Cuando recoja a los niños del TK or Kinder, por favor trate de estacionar su carro en los espacios designados y camine al salón de clase.
  5. Por favor no suene la bocina ni lame a su hijo gritándole.

Asientos de niños y cinturones de seguridad

  • Los niños menores de 8 años deben estar asegurados en el asiento trasero del vehículo en asientos o sillas infantiles apropiadas que cumplan con las normas federales aplicables de seguridad de motores y vehículos.
  • Los niños menores de 8 años que miden 4'9" o más altos pueden estar asegurados con el cinturón de seguridad del asiento trasero de los vehículos.
  • Los niños mayores de 8 años deberán estar debidamente asegurados con el cinturón de seguridad apropiado de cada vehículo.
