Transitional Kindergarten

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) provides an additional year of early education to four- and early-five-year-olds with the goal of promoting school readiness by building up and contributing to their content knowledge and teaching them the basic skills needed to be ready for Kindergarten. Both social-emotional and academic skills are taught through thematic knowledge-building units that are developmentally appropriate using, art, centers, technology, and play.
